Nishant Marasini is a Chartered Accountant with a background spanning finance, accounting, business management and law. He holds a Master's in Business Studies (MBS) and a BA LLB, which lets him read a transaction in commercial, financial and legal terms at the same time.
His practice concentrates on foreign direct investment, valuation and transaction advisory. He works with foreign investors entering Nepal, Nepali companies raising or restructuring capital, and businesses that need a defensible number attached to a decision — a valuation, a due diligence finding, or a tax position that will be tested.
Alongside professional practice, Nishant has built and run businesses of his own. That experience shapes how he advises: the recommendation has to be one an owner can actually implement, not one that is merely technically correct.
He writes regularly on Nepal's FDI regime, tax law and financial reporting.
